Puppy Love - February 2008

Here are some pages I made this month with photos of Alisa with her doggies that were taken in February. She had been saying Ninja needed a companion to keep him company, and it turns out she was right, because they got along great right from the start. It was definitely a case of puppy love, both for the doggies, and for us too!

Japan - October 2007

Fumi took these beautiful photos on a business trip in October 2007. He said he wished we could have been there with him, but since we couldn't, he took lots of photos to show us when he got home.

Mother's Day Luncheon

Here are some photos from a Mother's Day Luncheon with our homeschool group at the Education and Research Garden on West Ellis Road. The flowers were beautiful, and I had fun taking photos of them. It was a beautiful spring day and we had a great time enjoying nature with our friends.

Carnival

Here are some pages I just made with some fun photos from a Patient Appreciation Carnival held by Dr. Kallis for his orthodontic patients on May 10, 2008. Erika, Alisa, and Kalyn had fun climbing and sliding, and Alisa & Kalyn even went into the dunk tank!

I had fun with these photos from Erika's 4th birthday. The photos from the first page were from her birthday trip to Helen, GA with Grandmommy and Granddaddy, and the photo on the second page was taken at home on her actual birthday when we got her an ice cream cake to celebrate.

Continuing our trip down memory lane, I'll share this layout I did with photos from Christmas Eve 1995, Alisa's first Christmas. You know how they say kids have more fun with the box than with the toys? Well, it looks like it's true. Look at Erika in the box in the last photo!

The last page I shared here was from Erika's 1st birthday, so now I'm going to share one from even farther back than that. These photos were taken 11 days before she was born. Look how big I was!!

Today is Erika's 16th birthday, so I thouht I'd celebrate by making a layout with photos from her 1st birthday. I can't believe she's 16 years old today. It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating her 1st birthday.

Cotillion 2008 - Dinner & Dancing

Here are the rest of the Cotillion pages with photos taken during the festivities. I took some of them when we dropped off the girls, then I left my camera with them and they took some photos themselves, and I got some from the CD of candid photos that I ordered after the event. I just love these photos of the girls enjoying their special night, and I tried to capture the feeling of the night on these pages.

Here are two pages I created today with some photos of Erika and Alisa that I absolutely love. Erika and Alisa looked so grown up and beautiful all dressed up for the CrossPointe Cotillion.

Mother's Day 2008 Pages

The two pages below are the only pages I've created so far in July. We got busy with putting new flooring in the kitchen and laundry room after I made these pages, and I haven't gotten any new pages done since then. The photos on these two pages were taken at my parents' house on Mother's Day this year. We had fun taking family photos which you can see on the first page, and we also celebrated Alisa's birthday with a cake made by her Grandma which you can see on the second page. I had fun taking photos of my Mama's flowers and I thought they made a fun addition to the page with Alisa's photo.

Pages I created in June 2008

June was a good scrapbooking month for me. I created 24 pages with a mix of old and new photos ranging from 1996-2008. I had fun creating the pages and I hope you'll enjoy looking at them in the slideshow below.
